Biography
Mariana Gonzalez Utrilla is a Research Associate at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King's College London.
Mariana joined King’s College London in January 2024 as Research Assistant on The Stepping Stones Study. She is currently a Research Associate on the Buccal Naloxone Healthy Volunteers study (NAlBuc) a phase 1 pharmacokinetic study on a novel buccal naloxone wafer versus current forms of naloxone.
She is also working on the BUILD2depot study, which aims to develop and test an improved switching from methadone to buprenorphine long-acting injection for people with opioid dependence and will pilot remote monitoring of safety to enable community-based switch.
Mariana is a junior doctor from Mexico who also holds an MPH from the University of Sheffield and an MSc in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sante Public.
