Marta Ortega Vega is a PhD student in the Division of Methodologies in the Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care. Her research focuses on exploring the characteristics of different types of interprofessional teams in mental healthcare settings, including the barriers and enablers to team effectiveness across these different team types, and their training needs to enhance team effectiveness.

Marta's research interests include mental health training and workforce development, healthcare simulation, wellbeing in education settings, and healthcare workforce wellbeing.
