Biography
Maryna graduated from Lviv Ivan Franko National University in Ukraine in 2010, with a Master’s degree in Philology: Translator, Lecturer of Translation and English Language. She has a full DELTA including a distinction in Module 3 – English for Academic Purposes. In 2014, she graduated from Postgraduate Institute of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Law.
Maryna has been teaching English, including General English, Academic English and English for Specific Purposes, since 2007. She has been teaching EAP in the UK HE environment since 2015. Maryna has taught and co-ordinated a range of EAP courses for students seeking to progress to BA or MA.
Maryna is interested in technology enhanced learning and has experience teaching in active learning classrooms, relying mainly on online learning tools and platforms. She is keen to improve her use of technology further.
Maryna's hobbies are hiking, baking, reading and translating/interpreting.
