Biography
Matilda Azis received her PhD from King’s College London where she specialized in the clinical presentation and neurobiology of patients at Ultra High Risk of Psychosis. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago and then returned to the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience to continue research examining the neurobiological, clinical and cognitive factors underlying the onset of psychosis. Matilda runs the national NHS training for health practitioners in the psychometric concepts of attenuated psychosis, and reliable identification and assessment of individuals at risk for psychosis.
