Dr. Mattia Giovannini graduated in Medicine & Surgery at the University of Verona, Italy, and attended the School of Pediatrics, Pediatric Specialties curriculum in Allergy at the University of Florence, Italy. Pediatric Allergy has had a leading role since his university studies, when he identified it as a career choice. Since then, he has been actively involved in clinical and research activities. Dr. Mattia Giovannini trained in United States and in United Kingdom.

He is currently a Pediatric Specialist at Meyer Children's Hospital IRCCS in Florence, Italy, employed as a Junior Researcher at the Department of Health Sciences, University of Florence, Italy. His research interest primarily involves pediatric anaphylaxis and immunomodulation.
