Mehdi Mehtarizadeh

Senior Research Software Engineer

Biography

Mehdi has a background in computer software engineering. He graduated from Kerman University in southeast Iran. He later moved to the UK and completed his master’s in Advanced Software Engineering at University of Leicester. Mehdi has worked for various SMEs and helped in building IT teams. He has been involved in creating medium and large software packages for a wide variety of industries such as higher education, telecommunications, and media. Furthermore, he has experience in developing and maintaining wireless wide area networks.

Before joining King's, Mehdi worked as a software engineer at the Bioinformatics and Health Data Science group where he contributed to facilitating health data discovery under HDR UK as well as pan-European rare disease consortia such as EJP-RD, Solve-RD, and EPND.
