Biography

Dr. Mingjun Huang is a Associate Professor and Head Nurse in West China School of Nursing/Day Surgery Center, West China Hospital, Sichuan University. She is also a Visiting Research Fellow at King’s College London. With a PhD in Nursing from Sichuan University, Dr. Huang has extensive expertise in the clinical symptoms management for low anterior resection syndrome (LARS), pain and PONV (postoperative nausea and vomiting) after surgery. Her research focuses on risk factors of LARS, risk prediction models and development trajectory for LARS and PONV, as well as intervention measures for LARS.

Academic Research: Dr. Huang has published over 50 peer-reviewed research papers in prestigious medical journals and contributed to 9 book chapters. She is in charge of research project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC). Her research contributions have been recognized globally, and she has served as areviewer for numerous scientific journals.
