Biography
I am a lecturer in Psychology and my research focuses on the origins and development of eating behaviours, childhood weight and their impact on later health outcomes such as eating disorders and obesity. In addition, I am interested in quantitative research methods, especially the analysis of longitudinal datasets, structural equation modelling, and causal inference.
Currently, I lead a MQ funded project studying the co-occurrence of self-harm and eating disorders using qualitative and quantitative methods. Further, I have a longstanding collaboration with the Gemini Twin Study.

The lifecourse epidemiology group researches developmental change, especially in childhood and adolescence. We specialise in methodology for longitudinal data including structural equation modelling.
