
Biography
Naomi Friel joined the Health & Social Care Workforce Research Unit (HSCWRU) as the Project Manager for the Adult Social Care Workforce Research Partnership: the Care Work project in July 2025. Prior to working at HSCWRU, she was a Project Manager for four years at Imperial College London (Ageing Epidemiology Research Unit).
With over ten years of clinical research experience, Naomi has co-ordinated observational studies and clinical trials in the NHS and academic settings, as well as provided advice on research governance in healthcare research.
Naomi completed her postgraduate degree in Clinical Neuroscience (MSc) at King’s College London and her previous research interests include healthy brain ageing/prevention of cognitive decline and Alzheimer’s disease.
