Biography

Nicki is Vice Dean (Partnerships) within the faculty, reflecting her university position as Associate Vice President, International, Engagement & Service. She has worked at King's since 2011 with a number of roles within the faculty in educational leadership.

She has led the development of a number of educational partnerships within the faculty, including the Joint Education Institute with Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) where she was Interim Executive Dean; the MBBS branch campus with the University of Portsmouth where the first cohort will graduate as King's doctors in 2028; and a partnership with Abdullah Al-Salem University in Kuwait, supporting the new Faculty of Health Sciences, with the first students starting on their 6-year MD degree in September 2026, crafted in partnership with King's.

She was previously Dean of Medical Education at King's and has held Clinical Director and Council member roles at the Royal College of Pathologists. She has been a board member of the UK Medical Schools' GMC's Applied Knowledge Test exam board and chaired London Medicine, part of London Higher. She remains clinically active as a Neuropathologist, in an honorary position at GSTT
