Biography
Nicola has achieved BSc Marketing and Management 1st Class Roehampton University and a PGCE in ESOL and Literacy at The Institute of Education, UCL. She is currently studying MA in Applied Linguistics and ELT at King’s College London.
Nicola taught for 6 years in Istanbul Turkey (working first at EFINST International House and then Istanbul University) before returning to the UK. Nicola taught during summer 2014 and 2017 at Oxford University, Hertford College. From September 2017-July 2018 she taught EAP in an International College in London Bridge before joining King’s on the Pre-sessional programme Summer 2018 and then starting full time in September 2018.
Nicola's professional interests include listening skills strategy instruction and language attitudes and ideology. Her hobbies include walking in Richmond park, reading novels by Turkish authors, and studying languages – she can speak Turkish to Intermediate level
