Dr Nicole Votruba

Biography
Nicole Votruba is a post-doctoral researcher in the Health Service and Population Research Department at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience. She is scientific coordinator of the Emilia study, and co-lead of the Indigo Local study. Nicole is also policy officer of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Global Health.
Nicole completed her PhD at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King’s, and holds an MA and BA in political sciences and International law from Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich and Sciences Po’ Toulouse. She is completing an MSc Psychology in 2021. From 2014-2016, Nicole was coordinator of FundaMentalSDG, a global initiative strengthening mental health within the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Nicole has more than ten years’ experience of working as a consultant with research collaborations and policy (European Commission, European Parliament, WHO), on issues of public health, mental health, human rights, development, gender, diversity and inclusion.
