Noah Sesay is a pharmacist, a global health practitioner, and a Commonwealth Scholar. His work spans clinical practice, implementation science, and programme management, with a keen interest in health systems strengthening in LMICs.

Noah was previously an Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) Coordinator for King's Global Health Partnerships in Sierra Leone, where he coordinated activities for the Commonwealth Partnerships for Antimicrobial Stewardship (CwPAMS) programme, including leading Sierra Leone's first Global Point Prevalence Survey (G-PPS) at Connaught Hospital – a landmark initiative that strengthened national data on antimicrobial use and evidence-based stewardship. He further supported AMS Champion training, surgical prophylaxis guideline review and the successful launch of the country's first hospital-based AMS committee with a three-year action plan.

Noah contributed to the second phase of the CwPAMS programme while serving as Resident Clinical Pharmacist at Ola During Children's Hospital, where he led all facility-level AMS activities and clinical pharmacy ward rounds. He supported the hospital's transition to an integrated healthcare facility committee. Among his main achievements in this role, he led a G-PPS on antimicrobial use at Ola During Children's Hospital and launched the first-ever AMS committee in a paediatric hospital. Findings of the G-PPS were accepted as an abstract publication at the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) Congress in Copenhagen.

Between 2023-2025, he served as President of the Young Pharmacists' Group - Sierra Leone, having also previously served as its research and projects officer. 

Noah is completing an MRes in Clinical Research at King's College London as a Commonwealth Scholar, researching post-viral sequelae following arboviral and filoviral infections. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with Honours from the University of Sierra Leone, with further training in Essentials of Clinical Trials from the MRC Unit The Gambia/LSHTM and a one-year Africa Leadership Fellowship in Antimicrobial Stewardship with the Commonwealth Pharmacists' Association. He is co-author on multiple peer-reviewed publications on TB treatment outcomes, HIV viral load suppression, malaria management, and antimicrobial resistance and has presented his research at conferences, including the NIHR South London Discover Research Event.
