Biography
Osama Hassan is a Research and Teaching Fellow in the Department of Informatics at King's College London. He earned a BSc in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Ain Shams University, followed by dual MSc degrees. One in Optics and Photonics from Imperial College London, where he was awarded the Gladys Locke Prize in Applied Optics, and another in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He is currently completing his doctoral research at Imperial College London, specializing in visual computing and machine learning.
He has teaching experience at Imperial College London, the American University in Cairo (AUC) and UCLA. In addition to his academic endeavours, Osama brings industry experience from technology companies, including Samsung Research America and Meta (Facebook Reality Labs).
