
Biography
He holds an MA in International Relations from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, where his thesis examined the European discourse toward the Southern Mediterranean from the 1995 Barcelona Process to the European Neighbourhood Policy. He also earned a BA in Political Science from the École de Gouvernance et d’Économie (EGE) in Rabat.
Oussama has held senior research and advisory positions in leading think tanks and policy institutions, including the Policy Center for the New South, Al Sharq Forum, and the German Institute for International and Security Affairs. He is also the co-founder of the Southern Strategies Institute, a political risk consultancy, where he has developed expertise in strategic foresight, risk analysis, and policy formulation. His academic interests include emotional identification and humiliation in global politics, Middle East and North Africa politics, critical theory, and the affective dimensions of international relations.
