Biography

Pakamas Pimtara is a PhD student in the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care at King’s College London. She earned her Bachelor of Nursing Science (Second-Class Honours) and Master of Nursing Science (Gerontological Nursing) from Burapha University, Thailand.

She is a nursing lecturer at Phrapokklao Nursing College, Chanthaburi, Faculty of Nursing, Praboromarajchanok Institute, under the Ministry of Public Health, Thailand, and is sponsored by the Royal Thai Government Scholarship to pursue her doctoral studies at King’s College London. Her teaching and research primarily focus on gerontological nursing and dementia care.

Her research interests include dementia care, cognitive stimulation therapy (CST), and the development of culturally adapted interventions to enhance the well-being and quality of life of older adults and their caregivers. She is also passionate about promoting evidence-based nursing practice in low- and middle-income settings.
