
Biography
Patrick is a clinician and researcher in Professor Michael Simpson's Group, with a particular interest in rare genetic disease diagnosis. Patrick trained at Hull York Medical School and has an intercalated degree in Human Genetics from King’s College London. He has previously carried out genetic research into rare skin, eye and developmental disorders. He has recently joined the team with the aim of improving our understanding of the rare genetic and adverse early environmental influences in developmental disorders. He hopes to translate this knowledge into clinical practice and improve care for individuals with developmental disorders.
