Mr Paul Cartwright

Mr Cartwright was appointed Member of Council and Chair of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee in July 2019. He is also a member of the Chair's Committee and the Remuneration Committee.

Since 2014, he has been a Non Executive Director of West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust and chairs their Audit Committee and their Remuneration Committee.

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, he spent over twenty five years at Accenture in a variety of client based and management roles both in the UK and overseas and with his principal focus being on the systems and processes supporting the management of risk.

Mr Cartwright initially graduated in Economics from Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge and since leaving Accenture, he has completed a Graduate Diploma in Theology and a Masters in Conflict Resolution in Divided Societies - both from King's College London. He is also an Associate of King's College London.
