Biography

Pauline is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the growth strategy for Chemistry, including recruitment of new academic staff, departmental space and capital budgets.

Prior to joining King’s in 2018, she worked at Perrett Laver, specialising in executive search for Chair & Professorial appointments worldwide. Pauline’s career has spanned a broad range of roles, from running an art dealing business to 16 years at a multinational corporation, Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI), working in Project Management, Finance, IT, Strategic Planning and Acquisitions. During her time at ICI, she delivered a multimillion pound acquisition of a paint company in Poland. 

The Faculty of Natural, Mathematical and Engineering Sciences is based in the heart of London with a long tradition of world-leading research and teaching in physics, mathematics, chemistry, computer science and engineering. With nearly 5,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students and around 350 academic and research staff, our ambition is to inspire, educate and innovate - fostering the next generation of scientists and future leaders.
