Pete Bond

Pete is the Director of Operations for the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine. He leads the Faculty's Professional Services staff and works closely with the Executive Dean and Vice-Deans to develop and deliver the Faculty's academic and operational strategy. Prior to joining King's, Pete worked in roles across the healthcare delivery and biomedical research sector. He spent nearly 10 years in the NHS as a service manager in hospitals in Oxford, Carlisle, and Birmingham. He then joined Oxford University to manage the Wellcome Centre for Human Genetics, before moving on to work as Director of Operations in the Nuffield Department of Medicine. Pete holds an MSc in Health Care Management from the University of Birmingham, a BA in Modern History from the University of Oxford, and a CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting. Away from work, Pete will most likely be found enjoying the outdoors going running, trekking and mountaineering.
