Biography

Prapan is a PhD Nursing Research student in the Division of Care in Long Term Conditions, Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care, King’s College London.

He is a registered nurse by background and currently holds lecturer status in the Adult and Gerontological Nursing Department in the Faculty of Nursing, Srinakharinwirot University in Thailand. After receiving his nursing degree, Prapan has been awarded a Master and PhD scholarship from Srinakharinwirot University. He graduated with his MSc in Advanced Nursing with Distinction in 2022 from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, before entering the MPhil/PhD programme at King’s in 2023.

Prapan is pursuing his PhD degree by conducting a research project around nursing and palliative care. His research focuses on understanding how complex nurse-led interventions contribute to palliative and end-of-life care.

His area of interests covers palliative and end-of-life care, adult nursing, critical care nursing, and cancer care. This also includes an understanding on improving healthcare services for patients with acute and long-term care conditions.
