Rachel Connell

As Head of Operations, Rachel leads the Professional Services staff and operational delivery of services to support King’s Foundations staff and students.  With the Director and Executive, Rachel leads on the development and implementation of departmental strategy, oversees departmental budget and resource allocation, delivering income target and KPIs.  As part of the Centre for International Education and Languages (CIEL), Rachel chairs the CIEL Risk Committee and also works closely with teams across the College to ensure the work of King’s Foundations aligns with King’s Strategy and Vision.

Rachel has a BA Joint Honours in French and German from the University of Leeds as well as the Certificate and Diploma in English Language teaching to Adults (CELTA and DELTA) qualifications.  Rachel has worked in the public and private education sector for over 20 years and has expertise in the delivery of high-quality education to international students.
