Raluca Scarlat is an Analyst in the Department of Analytical, Environmental & Forensic Sciences, School of Cancer & Pharmaceutical Sciences. Raluca joined the Drug Control Centre in July 2022 after completing her Biomedical Sciences with EMY degree at King’s. She spent her placement year at DNA Analysis @ King's, a UKAS accredited lab, preparing samples for kinship analysis using capillary electrophoresis (CE). She currently works in the Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) team and is responsible for the preparation and analysis of urine samples for anti-doping purposes in accordance with UKAD and WADA requirements.
