Rebecca Kyomugisha

I am at present enrolled at King’s College London and London School of Tropical Medicine pursuing an MSc Global Mental Health. I have 4 years working experience in the area of Policy and campaigns, Child Protection and Mental Health. I am also a budding writer and have written on the state of mental health in Uganda in the local newspaper (New Vision).

I believe that it is pertinent that we increase awareness and discourse on Global issues that are affecting this generation and the ones to come. We must discuss what our role is in rolling back the harmful effects of climate change. How is this execrating growing levels of non-communicable disease such as mental health. What can we aas a student body do? We have a voice, how are we going to use that voice? The generations to come will judge us for our silence, compliance or our stand for change.
