Biography

During her PhD at the University of Manchester, Dr Rebekah Beck developed a keen interest in the effect that pharmaceutical and environmental compounds have on the DNA methylome signature. In 2019, Rebekah started her first postdoc position in the David Phillips group at King’s. Continuing along a similar vein of research, Rebekah focuses on establishing mutational signatures of defined mutagens in organoids as part of the Mutographs of Cancer - Cancer Research UK Grand Challenge Project.
