Biography

Rhiannon is the Knowledge Exchange Senior Officer for King’s, supporting the Knowledge Exchange activity across the College. This includes supporting the enhancement of data collection processes to raise the visibility and profile of the College’s externally facing activities. The KE team has responsibility for the College’s Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF) and Higher Education Business and Community Interaction Survey (HEBCIS) returns.

Rhiannon joined the REF, KEF and Research Impact team in 2024, previously holding the role of REF Impact Officer, where she supported research impact development within the Faculty of Arts & Humanities in preparation for REF2029. Before this, she was based in the Programmes team in the School of Politics & Economics since 2022. Her research background is in Central and East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies, with previous experience in the public policy space. Rhiannon is also an active committee member in the Proudly King’s LGBTQIA+ Staff Network.

Rhiannon holds a triple-Erasmus Mundus Joint Master degree in Central and East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies from the University of Glasgow, University of Tartu (Estonia) and Ilia State University (Georgia) and a BA in French and Russian from the University of Bristol.
