Biography
Ricardo joined the Department of Political Economy in October 2019. His research focuses on the correlation between elections, good governance, and level of development or prosperity. He is a career diplomat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia and was posted at the Indonesian embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina (2015-2018) and the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Indonesia to ASEAN (2018-2019). Ricardo holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from University of Indonesia and a Master of Professional Studies in International Relations and Human Rights from the University of Auckland. His research is funded by the Indonesian Endowment Fund for Education from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia.
