Postdoctoral Research Associate

Biography

My main focus of research is in analysis of microscopy images, specifically localisation microscopy. I have developed methods for accurate reconstruction of structures from image sequences with highe emitter density usually necessary for live cell imaging. I have worked extensivly on understanding identifying and preventing the analysis artefacts that result in these situations. I have also developed software tools to help other researchers with these isues. Additionaly I also develop and build new microscopy imaging tequniques and image a variaty of biological systems in both fix and live cells.
