
Biography
Riya Tripathi is a Research Assistant in Neuroimaging and Neuromodulation in the Department of Psychological Medicine at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King's College London. Her research focuses on the application of non-invasive Temporal Interference Stimulation (TIS) to study emotional autobiographical memory in healthy volunteers.
Riya holds an MEng in Biomedical Engineering from King's College London, where she developed a strong foundation in neurotechnology and neuroimage analysis. She brings this technical background to her current work, contributing to research at the intersection of non-invasive brain stimulation and cognitive neuroscience.
She joined the department in August 2026.
