Biography
Dr Robert Weatherley is an Affiliated Lecturer in modern Chinese politics at the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies and the Department of Politics and International Studies, University of Cambridge.
He also works as a commercial lawyer for the UK law firm Mills & Reeve and is the founding member of the firm’s China Desk. Robert’s academic research interests are varied, but usually come back to the same underlying theme – the significance of the past in modern-day Chinese political thinking and practice.
