
Biography
Roberta is currently a Lab Manager for Spatial Transcriptomics at Pharos AI, where she leads work on Xenium technology in cancer patient samples. She earned her Master’s degree in Biology from the University of Naples, Italy (2014), before moving to Birmingham to focus on apoptotic-derived extracellular vesicles and their role in inflammation. In 2018, she joined Breast Cancer Now as a Senior Research Technician, investigating the role of hormad1 in triple negative breast cancer, with a particular focus on its impact on immune visibility. Her career reflects a strong foundation in cancer biology, advanced research technologies, and translational applications aimed at improving patient outcomes.
