
Biography
Rongrong Zhong is a Visiting PhD Student in the Department of Biostatistics & Health Informatics at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience.
She joined King’s in 2025 as part of her doctoral training from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, where she is currently pursuing a PhD in Psychiatry and Mental Health. She previously obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine from Southern Medical University.
Her research focuses on the clinical diagnosis, intervention, and digital medicine of mood disorders, with a particular emphasis on the translational application of digital mental health tools. She has participated in a major multimodal data collection project involving speech, facial expressions, and eye-movement signals to improve the auxiliary diagnosis of mood disorders.
