Biography

Dr Rosiered Brownson Smith is a Research Associate in the PROSPECT team at King’s College London, where she leads the planning, implementation, and analysis of the PROSPECT longitudinal cohort study, which aims to establish a new UK-based cohort dedicated to understanding early-onset colorectal cancer and the risks associated with diet, lifestyle, and health. Rosiered studied Biomedical Sciences at Durham University and completed an MSc in Cancer at University College London.

She recently completed her PhD, which investigated strategies to prevent nerve damage in patients receiving neurotoxic chemotherapy for breast cancer. Before joining King’s, Rosiered was a Research Associate at Newcastle University, overseeing a national study into ultra-long-term subcutaneous EEG monitoring in individuals with epilepsy and an intellectual disability. Her work broadly focuses on using digital and clinical interventions to improve outcomes for people with chronic and complex health conditions.
