Biography
Runcong Zhao joined King’s College London in February 2023 and is currently a Senior Research Scientist in Large Language Models, working on the EMBRACE project (Enhanced Maternal and Baby Results with AI-supported Care and Empowerment). Her research focuses on natural language processing and machine learning, with particular interests in LLM reasoning and personalised agents.
She holds a PhD in Computer Science (2019–2023) and an MSc in Data Science (2018–2019) from the University of Warwick, and earned her BA in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge (2015–2018).

LLM Reasoning – Conflict-aware Reasoning; Opinion Mining; Logical Reasoning.
Personalised Agents – AI for Health, Education, and Entertainment; Multimodal Enhanced Interaction; Simulation of Human Social Interactions.
