Biography
Sabrena is a speech and language therapist at Evelina London Children's Hospital and an NIHR doctoral fellow. Her research focuses on feeding and swallowing in children who require long-term ventilation. During her fellowship, she will investigate the feeding and swallowing outcomes for these children, explore the impact of feeding difficulties on their families, and identify ways to improve multidisciplinary care for this population. Sabrena will work closely with my Patient and Public Involvement group, expert advisory group and collaborators to ensure the research is patient-centred and meaningful. She looks forward to sharing the research findings to support improvements in feeding and swallowing services for children and their families.
