Biography

Sajal Porwal joined King's initially as an student on the MSc Health Psychology programme in 2023. She rejoined King's as a research assistant on the HAVA project (it is funded by the Wellcome Trust and it explores the relationship between exposure to air pollution and brain neurochemistry) this year.

Her postgradute dissertation explored the feasibility and preliminary efficacy of a breathwork intervention in patients with Chronic Migraine. Previously, she has also worked on individual cognitive psychology based studies. Exploring the relationship between Affect, mental imagery and apophenia as well as the visual choice reaction time differences based on personal color preferences. 

Sajal holds a BSc Psychology (Honours) degree from Christ (Deemed to be University) as well as a MSc Health Psychology from King's College London.

  • Mind–body interventions for long term conditions
