Sam is a research and engagement assistant at the Cicely Saunders Institute, working with Professor Irene Higginson and her team across multiple projects. Sam holds a BSc and an MSc in neuroscience. She has a background in editorial project management and science writing. She is passionate about science communication, patient and public engagement, and maximising the impact of healthcare research. She enjoys spending time with her family and walking with her dog, Blue Flash. Sam loves reading, watching movies and spending time in the kitchen.
