Biography
Samantha Els is a Research Assistant for Impact in the Department of Forensic and Neurodevelopmental Sciences (FANS) at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN), King’s College London. Her work focuses on translating the outcomes of the AIMS-2-Trials consortium into tangible impact for researchers, the autism community, and policy makers.
She joined King’s in 2026 under Dr. Emily Jones, having worked previously in the nonprofit sector for over 4 years for the Autism Science Foundation and Els for Autism. During this time, Sam co-founded the Sam’s Sibs Stick Together initiative, aiming to connect siblings of those on the autism spectrum with researchers and accessible resources.
Sam holds a B.S. from Stanford University, with a concentration in foundational neuroscience and health policy.
