Biography
Sammani Pavithra is the Research Coordinator, Population Mental Health Consortium (PHI UK), within the Department of Psychological Medicine at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King's College London.
Sammani joined the consortium in July 2024 to support the development and delivery of the research programme and provide financial and operations support in line with funder policies and College processes.
She is overseeing the post-award administration in partnership with the Cluster Manager including programme and project budgets, and working closely with the communications and engagement team at Thrive LDN and across partner organisations, to facilitate the delivery of the Cluster’s objectives. Sammani is also working closely with the Cluster Co-Directors, stakeholders and external suppliers to organise core programme meetings and cluster-wide events.
Prior to this Role, Sammani was the Education Programmes Coordinator of the Centre for Nephrology, Urology and Transplantation within the School of Immunology & Microbial Sciences, Faculty of Life Sciences and Medicine, since November 2021. She holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and is experienced administrative professional in the UK and Overseas.
