Biography

Dr Sanaa Hamid Mohamed is a Research Associate in the Department of Engineering, at King's College London.

Sanaa received a BSc (honours) in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Khartoum, Sudan, in 2009, a MSc degree in electrical engineering from the American University of Sharjah (AUS), United Arab Emirates, in 2013 and a PhD in electronic and electrical engineering from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, in 2020.

She received a full-time graduate teaching assistantship in the MSELE program, AUS in 2011. She received a Doctoral Training Award (DTA) from the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) in 2015. Currently, she is a research associate at the Engineering department, King’s College London in the project of Terabit Bidirectional Multi-user Optical Wireless System (TOWS) for 6G LiFi. She has been an IEEE member since 2008 and has served as TPC member for several IEEE conferences.
