Dr Seong Heun Kim obtained her MPharm at King's College London and is a GPhC registered pharmacist. She carried out her PhD in Pharmaceutical science at King's College London, under the supervision of Dr Daniele Castagnolo on the development of a novel approach in the treatment of drug resistant bacterial infections. She was awarded the C W Maplethorpe Postdoctoral Fellowship in Pharmacy for both teaching and research, joining Prof Mason's lab at King's College London. Her project is currently focused on understanding and exploiting self-assembly for effective translation of antimicrobials.
