
Biography
Shihao Shenzhang is a PhD student in the Department of Biostatistics & Health Informatics at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience. His research focuses on optimising data retrieval with Large Language Models within the OMOP framework, a standardised data model designed to unify diverse healthcare data sources.
Shihao earned a BSc in Business Management & Computer Science from the Complutense University of Madrid in Spain and later moved to London to pursue an MSc in Advanced Software Engineering at King’s College London.
Before joining King’s, he worked as an IT Consultant specializing in software development at NTT Data and later at IBM, gaining valuable industry experience in the field. During his master's at King’s, he also gained research experience as an AI project assistant for the CTF-funded project, “Adaptive Learning Support Platform Using GenAI and Personalized Feedback”.
