Dr Shrilla Banerjee is an experienced Consultant Cardiologist, with a specialist interest in prevention and intervention (angioplasty and stenting) of coronary artery disease. Key areas include Women’s Health, in particular pregnancy-related heart disorders and reducing cardiovascular risk. Dr Banerjee also has an expertise in Aviation Cardiology and was an Advisor for the Civil Aviation Authority.

She was an elected member of the British Cardiovascular Society and British Cardiovascular Intervention Society, where she Chaired the Focus Group for Women in Interventional Cardiology. She is a keen educator and invited speaker at national and international conferences and has authored book chapters on Pregnancy and Heart Disease, Radial artery access and is a co-author of Swanton’s Cardiology.
