Biography
Simon joined the RECOLLECT 2 team at Kings in September 2024. Prior to this, he worked as an Assistant Psychologist in an All-Age Community Eating Disorder Service in Barking.
He was previously a Research Assistant on the VIP Trial at UCL, where he focused on the psychological impact of Hate Crime and CBT-informed interventions for older-aged victims of crime.
He volunteered and then worked as a Co-ordinator at Maytree, a charity that seeks to save the lives of those in acute suicidal crisis, acting as an alternative to emergency services. This experience inspired him to move from the corporate world to that of mental health.
He holds a BA in Jurisprudence from Oxford University, a MSc in Law and Accounting from the London School of Economics, and a MSc in Psychology (Conversion) from University of East London.
