Biography
Smita Ramma is a Immunoassay Analyst in the Department of Analytical, Environmental & Forensic Sciences, School of Cancer & Pharmaceutical Sciences. As part of the Drug Control Centre, the only laboratory in the UK accredited by the World Anti-Doping Agency, Smita is responsible for the routine testing of protein hormones in urine and blood by immunoassay, particularly erythropoietin; HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) and ABP (Athlete's Blood passport).
