Biography
Sofia is a research assistant in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at King’s College London, where they joined in 2025. Their work contributes to NIHR-funded research exploring the interaction between physical and mental health in children and young people, with the aim of informing evidence-based approaches to healthcare and service delivery within the NHS.
Their areas of expertise include health psychology, health priorities in clinical settings, public and patient involvement in research, and the development and evaluation of health-related measures. Prior to joining King’s College London, they gained clinical experience across multiple NHS settings including Great Ormond Street Hospital and West London, where they continue to hold honorary research contracts as part of their collaborative project.
