Biography

Sornsiri Poovongsaroj is a postgraduate researcher under the supervision of Dr Oya Celiktutan in the Social & AI Robotics Laboratory within the Department of Engineering at King’s College London. She received a BEng degree in Avionic Engineering from Civil Aviation Training Center, and an MEng degree in Computer Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. She has been granted the Royal Thai Government Scholarship for both master's and doctoral level in UK, where she obtained her second MSc degree in Robotics and Computation from University College London.

Her research interests include cognitive robotics, human-robot interaction, multimodal deep learning, image processing, as well as their applications in other domains, for example, in medical and healthcare settings.
