
Dr Stacey Jennings
Research Associate
Biography
Dr Stacey Jennings joined King's in January 2025. Stacey is a post-doctoral researcher supporting knowledge mobilisation and leading Patient and Public Involvement activities within the alcohol theme of the NIHR ARC South London programme. In addition to her work at KCL, Stacey is also a Research Fellow in the Centre for Psychiatry and Mental Health at Queen Mary University of London. She is currently completing an NIHR Three Schools Post-Doctoral Fellowship co-developing cultural competency and alcohol prevention resources with ethnic minority populations.
Dr Jennings holds a PhD from QMUL, an MSc Mental Health Services and Population Research from KCL, and a BSc Psychology from the University of Edinburgh. She has worked across a diverse range of projects spanning perinatal mental health, sexual violence, substance use treatment (including Assertive Outreach) and provides qualitative consultation on mixed-method projects. Her areas of expertise include ethnic inequalities in addiction and mental health, barriers to treatment for marginalised groups, and co-production and qualitative paradigms. She also explores addiction and mental health systems and services. Stacey supervises undergraduate and postgraduate student projects aligned with her areas of research interest.
