I joined Kings in 2009 as Research Administrator to UKAAN, the UK Adult ADHD Network, under the supervision of Professor Phlip Asherson who is the President. My role is to provide the continuing development of the structured UKAAN management team plan and strategy, together with aims and terms of reference. This involves liaison, communication and collection of required data, from the executive committee members, training sub-committee members, regional hub leads, advisory board and Pharmaceutical companies and Clinicians, all of which is a key aspect of the role. I also provide the service delivery and organisation of all UKAAN board meetings, courses and events and management of income, and identify and act upon new opportunities which arise. In addition, I provide strict financial management of sponsorship monies received from Pharmaceutical companies encouraging the relationship and securing further on-going financial support to the benefit of UKAAN and the college. I provide the accounts and budgets for UKAAN on a quarterly basis, in conjunction with individual event budgets. I also have responsibility for the development and delivery of the UKAAN website which involves liaison with web developers to accommodate the growing UKAAN needs. All incoming queries to the UKAAN website are responded to by myself.
