Biography
Susan is a mental health researcher based in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at King’s College London. She has a background in psychology through an MSc. In Global Mental Health from King’s College London and a Postgraduate Diploma and BA (Hons) in Psychology from Ashoka University. Susan joined King’s in 2024 as a research assistant on the METROPOLIS project, and later started her PhD within it.
Her previous experience has been on working with adolescents with internalising symptoms and their associations school bullying, as well as developing a brief intervention for those with psychological distress and evaluating its effects on suicidality.
Her PhD project focuses on minority stress, in particular its measurement and its effect on mental health.
